Financial planning and wealth management have always been a natural fit for Will, inspired by his grandfather's decades-long career as a financial advisor. After graduating with honors in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Will joined his grandfather's practice. Recently, he has taken the reins and rebranded the firm as Grounded Financial Planning.
Will is passionate about helping pre-retirees not only determine if they can retire but also envision what they want their retirement to look like.
“It’s one thing to be financially able to retire; it’s another to figure out how you’re going to spend your time. I believe it’s essential to help people enter retirement with purpose—whether that’s starting a business, traveling, or pursuing something meaningful beyond simply not working. My goal is to make the numbers work in light of who you are and what you want to accomplish.”
Will earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(R) certification in 2022 and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Patriot Equity Credit Union and participates in the Greater Jackson Chamber and its Emerging Leaders Program.
